I knew about this decades ago.

Interesting how killer tomatoes are more with the trends of the eras. In the 80's they were all large and man-eating and now in this anti-terrorist era they are more akin to a chemical weapon.

Who knows how tomatoes will attack mankind 1,000 years from now?

The Tomato people of the planet Lyco. They will actually be peace-loving and kindly but there will be a terrible misunderstanding which provokes the attack.

Hooray for tomatoes! Despite the fact that people have been dropping like flies after eating them, I have every intention of buying them again once they've been proven safe for human consumption.

In fact, I'll probably throw one of my famous and very elegant all-tomato dinner parties to mark the occasion.

Not me. I don't even use spaghetti sauce (just butter) And I don't do pizza.

Just last year, tomatoes were the unloved remains of my salad. I used to eat them off and on. But they were clearly being shunned.

Now, they are my little favourites. little cherry tomatoes or just in a sandwich. Yum.

Now my question is, when was I replaced by a pod person?

I always hated tomatoes until i had some good ones ...

good ones you can eat like apples.

I hadn't had good ones by 2006.

I hardly ever eat tomatoes alone. I usually use them in sauces.
