Thanks Future. You know, I didn't even notice - I seldom notice individual thread milestones. But I guess I made the 1200th post - serendipitous, that.

And don't worry, the only reason I even noticed was that I had just read about STU's milestone on his own thread.

With the pool at the Villa still in disrepair from flying axes, I'll take my evening swim here. It's a bit more crowded, but I like this crowd.

The oiled and polished swing doors slam open and following the trail of the bloodied cat Hrun runs into Shakes.

“Now you feline devil, you shall be mine”

Running into the storeroom where SC is sleeping Hrun raises mighty Elfwine his war axe and brings it down towards Stoopid Cats head.

**hiss**

Stoopid Cats reactions save him just in time as he leaps to one side and Hruns axe destroys the Keg of fine brandy that SC was sleeping on.

Immediately Stoopid Cat leaps to the attack, his razor sharp claws slicing deep into Hruns hand.

Howling in pain, Hrun drops Elfwine. But he swiftly reacts with a backhanded blow that knocks the heroic cat backwards.

Spitting and hissing Stoopid cat starts to arch his back and actually grow in size till he almost fills the small storeroom. Now the size of a small lion SC launches himself at Hrun.

The blow makes Hrun and SC stagger backwards and through the wall of the storeroom in to the main room at Shakes.

On and on the battle raged, with Hruns mighty fists battering into the lion sized Cat. But Stoopid Cat gives as good as he gets and soon Hruns body is covered in deep deep scratches, his blood bright red dripping on the carpet.

Finally Hrun gains the upper hand for a moment and catching hold of SC throws him bodily into the pool.

Driven to a berserker rage, Hrun leaps after Stoopid Cat, a hunting knife in his hand. The pool erupts in a flurry of red tinged foam.

Stoopid Cat leaps from the pool and activates a tesseract, diving through it, SC vanishes.

Hrun slowly climbs out of the pool. He holds aloft his hand, grasping his prize. A piece of fur from Stoopid Cats back.

“Tis still not enough” Hrun roars “To make the pouch I need more fur. Come Elfwine”

And with that before any one can stop him, he too dives through the fast closing tesseract followed by his axe and vanishes.

Emerald Empress, are you around. We need you to cast a cleaning spell over the pool. Also, bring your vapours. Poor Fat Cramer got caught in the midst of a nasty to-do between Stoopid Cat and Hrun. That Stoopid Cat is quite a brawler, it turns out.

Yuck! Where's the shower in this place?

Good morning, everyone. I got a call that there was another disturbance--WTF?! What happened to the pool?!

I'm glad EE was able to fix things, they're getting out of hand. It might be time for the Security Office to offer another solution to this ongoing problem...

In the meantime, I'll help myself to a Manhatten--something that always gets the brain flowing.

Things do seem to be getting a bit out of hand with Hrun's exploits.

Perhaps we should all just pitch in and buy him a fur pouch? It would save Stoopid Cat some grief!

I was thinking about dropping in for a drink but maybe I should wait over here for the cleanup crew to finish tidying up.

But while I'm here and you mentioned fur, might I interest you in the Primary Color Gang's Fall Catalog of Super Suit Accessories and Villianous Paraphenelia?

Are your accessories limited to the primary colors (red, blue and yellow) or can we select from the secondary colors as well? The well dressed super-hero is wise to accessorize using the primary color's complement. Myself, I think yellow and purple are particularly fetching, don't you? Cerulean blue and pale orange are also pleasing. Have you thought of setting up a shop?

Thanks Empress. The pool looks great, and Fat Cramer just sparkles. As usual, Empress, you're a doll! You'll notice that I've posted a sign stating that SHAKES is now under the official protection of the Emerald Empress. Vandals beware!

Perhaps we should just shave a little fur off Hrun while he's sleeping and make it into a pouch for him. We'll just pretend it's pussy fur. Barbarians really can't tell the difference.

Cobie, maybe you could co-ordinate your security plans for SHAKES with the Emerald Empress. After all, she is now our official protector.

<SC peers out of a nearby tesseract, too ashamed to show his face after the distruction caused by his recent battle with Hrumbf>

SC, you're a mighty brawler. I think you might have caused Hrun some serious damage, not the least of which was to his ego.

Well of course you can accessorize with a wide range of colors, patterns and designs. When Gay Green Giant hung up "her" spandex and opened a Meta-Human Fashion Boutique the world may have lost a mediocre reformed-villian-turned-hero but it gained a superior Super Hero apparel designer.

- sigh - I do sometimes miss the old bank robbing days of our not-so-innocent-youth.

Believe it or not we've stolen far more money legally as business persons than we ever ripped off with our super powers.

What in the world is going on? Empress is is on a search & destroy mission throughout Legion World and Queen Connie is fit to be tied. I had to forbid her leaving the Villa. She wants a piece of Hrun's hide equivalent in size to the amount of her tail fur that he sheared off. Seemes she doesn't think she got nearly enough in return with her claws!

I've never seen her in such a state, nor Empress for that matter. The two of them are stalking Hrun and I would hate to be near him when either of them find him.

In the long run - no.

The original Red Rascal died during a herioc attempt to rescue a little old lady's social security check from heavy rush hour traffic.

Blue Cheese Lad now owns a successful chain of specialty salad shops called Green*Bucks. Gay Green Giant is a world reknowned fashion designer (I almost thought we were being attacked by a rival superhero group at "her" last runway show, there were SO many beautiful costumes).
I manage most of our investment portfolioes and direct the sales staff. I tell you it's just amazing how much disposable wealth those guys in Takron-Galtos have tucked away here and there. Why they're an absolute goldmine.
