Yes, sir, a VERY long way. 5 days of straight driving, so a 5-hour flight does not sound bad at all right now.

I came through the storm luckier than it seems like anyone else did in the area. Never lost power and no external damages save for some tree limbs, but of all things, that stupid fence behind our house DID get knocked down! Which works out, since I'd rather not have to take a pick-axe out there and do it myself. That thing was hideous.

How're repairs going on your side? The water damage to your home wasn't too bad, was it?

I think I'll take a dip in the "fresh and clean" pool, wearing my official LW speedo. Our special uv dissipators filter out any harmful rays over the pool area, allowing for a safe tan.

I don't need a tan, but a camera to remember every moment that you are in your speedos would be nice.

I wasn't aware that Miner ran a taxi teleportation service. Probably just as well given the amount of alcohol he consumes each time he visits SHAKES. I have a cellar labelled "Miner's Stash" just so I won't run out of his favorites.
