Never fear, Future. I've put out a call to the ladies synchro swim team to come for a practice. That'll keep GRL occupied.

some people just have no taste for quality.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

It's sad, but today is the last day of summer. The pool closes tomorrow. Enjoy is while you can. Water volley ball in the shallow end. Synchro swim in the deep end. Fun and frivolity at the pool bar.

Well, a softball team is a pretty good idea. Shameless Hussies could field a team. Cafe Cramer could field a team (but we'd cannibalize eah other, since we have so many common patrons).
I was also thinking of a water-color class out on the pool deck to catch the changing autumn colors under the ever watchful gaze of Mt. Eruptus.
We need to keep in shape for the holdiay flirting season, so I'm thinking of opening SWEATS, a gym, adjacent to SHAKES. Vee and I talked about this a year or so ago, but it never quite got off the ground.
I hope to add live music to happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays. Perhaps Harbinger and Crujectra could be persuaded to guest star occassionally.
Other than that, it'll be the same old thing - free drinks, carousing, and repairing the bar after the destruction caused by the newest brigand to hit LW.

Hey, what's the chances of getting a beer around here? It's Monday night, and as boring as scrubbing Satans horny hoofs.
So I could do with a long cold draught, if you would be so kind, Garcon.

Numf, he's your beer. I would think though, that I wouldn't characterize scrubbing Stan's horny hooves as boring. Disturbing, perhaps, but not boring.

Well he's so particular about how he likes them done, and to what level of glossy blackness he likes them shined, that having to clean and buff them up to 17 times a day can be quite boring indeed.
Disturbing at first, but then when you realise that hell is in fact just non-terminal boredom it changes your outlook.
Thanks for the beer. My-God-and-his-great-big-fluffy-bunny-collection do I need this.

As Outdoor Miner so wisely suggests, 3 beers are better than 1. So here are 2 more.

Sounds great Semi, a week and a half off work and a family visit, make sure you make the most of it darling as time off always goes by at twice the rate of time on don't you know It's one of those bizarre laws of physics that they forget to teach at school

Semi, Buddy, Are you here?
I need your help... Space Lawyer help, not Space Bartender help!
As a result of some underhanded shenanigans at the recent Legion World Sadie Hawkins Dance, I now have a Daughter, Opal Janell Quank.
However the mother of that beautiful baby girl is attempting to deny me my parental rights and has been publicly running around with other men. (not that I care much about the second part, but it is smear material)
I have decided to sue for custody of my daughter, and I would like to retain you to help represent me in this battle. The lead attorney in the case will be your good friend and esteemed colleague Mr. Quislet.ESQ, I also plan to retain any and all other Space Lawyers on legion World.
If you are willing to represent me please assist him in obtaining a restraining order Post-Haste!
P.S. As the Official Legion World janitor, I have a long standing High Paying Job, plus I know where all the other posters money cashes are, so money is no object... So SIC HER!!!!!!!

Sorry Abin, this is the one place I don't have to be a lawyer. I'd kind of like to keep it that way.
