HP Viv, Caesars are popular on the east coast. Bartenders on the west coast never seem to know what they are. It's lighter than a "mary" and in my opinion, much tastier.

After all that beef wellington, merlot, and sherry trifle over at Club MLC, I think a virgin caesar with celery stalk would be a nice capper to my night.

Semi, a question: what exactly is in a Bloody Mary, and is it similar to these 'virgin ceasers'? I never really was big on bloody Mary's until they saved me this summer when I was hungover on vacation.

Season the rim of the glass by dipping it in lime or lemon juice and then rolling in a mixture of kosher or sea salt and freshly ground pepper. A bloody mary, like a caesar, starts with vodka (although some people will use gin - but that's just wrong, imo). The base for a bloody mary is tomato juice (but V8 Juice works well) - after that it depends on one's creativity. At a minimum, it is seasonned with salt and pepper, and most often with celery salt. I've seen horseradish added, and beef bouillion adds body to it. Absolutely essential is worcestershire sauce (Lea and Perrins). Tabasco is often added for an extra kick. Mary's are frequently garnsihed with a stalk of celery and a wedge of lime or lemon.

A virgin caesar sounds like a salad in a glass, but it taste great.
And to show I bear no ill will, I, too, shall bestow a gift...

Sounds like your average Triumvir member, actually, but it's probably pretty good.

Cobie a virgin? Unlikely. Now, enough of that. More drinking, right now.

Oh, happy day! A virgin Cobie would be favored by the Sisters of my space-nunnery. We would both be resplendent in white and our union would be a veritable Eden of possibility!
*dreamy sigh*
I think this calls for a round of Energon smoothies!

What's in an Energon smoothie? And if you say "Energon", please explain what Energon is. (I don't get out much, you see).

I'm not quite sure, Semi. I'm new to Transformer jargon as well. It's apparently the "fuel" of the Transformers. I'll just pass on the drink for now (until Kippers or Future explains it to us) and enjoy your company. An afternoon with Semi is more enjoyable anyways.

Semi, I do hope G.R.L. isn't around today. I'm wearing Robotican today and she may try to steal my girl-candy.

GRL has rusted up a bit with the onset of fall. It's sad. She just sits immobile by the covered pool. I imagine she's dreaming of summer and the ladies synchro-swim team practices. I hate to see her in this condition. She was such a feisty gal, once.

What is this liquid substance leaking from my optical sensors?
Golly! Now I feel like offering GRL my girl-candy just to cheer her up!

MEAD! Mead
I have a thirst that will not be quenched by mere bagatelles.
So my dear dear Friend MR Fellow, where is the Joy in Life? where is the honour, eh? We sit here to drink whilst our colleagues go out to die in Glory.
Bring on the dancing girls, where is the gambling, the meat!
Drinks heavily
Bring me Mead and Meat, NOW Slave!!

Mead, right away Hrun. The joy in life may be found in the flavour of mead lingering at the back of one's tongue after the first swallow. Honour may be found in loyalty. The dancing girls may be found at Shameless Hussies Bar, as may be found the gambling. The meat is typically found in one's pants.

Shameless Hussies is down the street just past the Statue of Cobalt Kid I. It's a true den of iniquity (and some would say, inequity, given the prices they charge for drinks, not to mention a lap dance.)

I don't think any of them are slaves. But there are lots of dancing girls and boys. Some are customers and some are employees. It's difficult to tell which is which. But, they all seem to be having lots of fun. I suggest you go on "Thong Night."

Anyway, many of the Shameless Hussies regulars will be at the mud-wrestling match between Miss T and Vivianne. Two headstrong women - I just knew it would come to this. This will be better than a Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan rematch.
