In day-glo colors. That way it would show up in the black lights when you took your shirt off at all-night raves.

I'm betting that would leave me with plenty of room to myself on the dance floor.

Egads, the advertising I have to do, day after day after day, just to keep this bar up front. I think I need a PR firm.

That tatoo was kinda scary - and it's not even Hallowe'en yet. How about a simple sparkling water with Angostura bitters to help me calm down?

Absolutely, and shall I add a squeeze of lime?
In Miner's defense, he didn't say he had such a tattoo, only that if he were going to get a tattoo, he would consider that, along with an ankh. I like to think he would choose the ankh.

What are "bitters" and are they really bitter?

The best known bitters are Angostura. Here's the blurb from their web-site. ANGOSTURA aromatic bitters is a highly concentrated food and beverage flavouring. Made from a secret formula, it is a unique blend of natural herbs and spices which is used to flavour a wide variety of foods and drinks. The "secret" was developed in 1824 by Dr. J.G.B. Siegert, a Surgeon General in Simon Bolivar's army in Venezuela. He used his aromatic bitters to improve appetite and digestive well-being of the soldiers. The word "Angostura" came from the town of that name in Venezuela where Dr. Siegert was based. Of course SHAKES carries a full line of bitters.

Time for a song, hope you don't mind but this is one of the first songs I learned on the piano, and I love it! If only I could sing like Karen Carpenter Day after day I must face a world of strangers Where I don't belong I'm not that strong It's nice to know that there's someone I can turn to Who will always care, you're always there When there's no getting over that rainbow When the smallest of dreams won't come true I can take all the madness the world has to give But I won't last a day without you So many times when the city seems to be without a friendly face - A lonely place! It's nice to know that you'll be there if I need you And you'll always smile - it's all worthwhile! When there's no getting over that rainbow When the smallest of dreams won't come true I can take all the madness the world has to give But I won't last a day without you Touch me and I end up singing. Troubles just up and disappear! You touch me with the love you're bringing I can't really lose when you're near (when you're near my love) If all the folks have forgotten half their promises they're not unkind - just hard to find! One look at you and I know that I could learn to live without the rest - I've found the best! When there's no getting over that rainbow When the smallest of dreams won't come true I can take all the madness the world has to give But I won't last a day without you I won't last a day without you. Night night Legionworlders, sweet dreams Bxx

I'm literally crying multitudinous galvanized tin buckets of sentimental yet salty tears which are flowing down my carefully moisturized cheeks and dripping off the end of my chin into the aforesaid buckets. Bravo. You need a drink, Belinda.

Oh sod it! Encore, more Carpenters for you all.
Talking to myself and feeling old Sometimes I'd like to quit Nothing ever seems to quit Hanging around, nothing to do but frown Rainy days and Mondays always Get me down
What I've got they used to call "the Blues", Nothing is really wrong, feeling like I don't belong Walking around, some kinda lonely clown Rainy Days and Monday alwaysget me down
Funny but it seems I always seem to wind up here with you, nice to know somebody loves me Funny but it seems it's the only thing to do - run and find the one who loves me
What I feel has come and gone before No need to talk it out We know what it's all aboutHanging around, nothing to do but frown Rainy days and Monday always get me down

And finally, a song just for our fine Fellow of a bar manager, and all round great guy
Why do birds suddenly appear Everytime you are near? Just like me, they long to be Close to you!
Why do stars fall down from the sky Everytime you walk by? Just like me, they long to be Close to you!
On the day that you were born the angels got together And decided to create a dream come true So they sprinkled moondust in your hair And golden starlight in your eyes of blue!
That is why all the girls in town Follow you all around Just like me They long to be Close to you!
On the day that you were born the angels got together And decided to create a dream come true So they sprinkled moondust in your hair And golden starlight in your eyes of blue!
That is why All the Boyz in town Follow you all around Just like me They long to be Close to you
Just like me They long to be Close to You
Close to you
And STF, we all know it's true!
Have a great night sweetheart, I need to get ready for abusy day tomorrow now, thanks for the Tea and company
Bxx

Gosh, if I had wings and incredible shrinking powers, I'd fly up and whisper sweet nothings in your ear. I'd probably also have to change my name to Semi Tinker Fella. Have a good night, Belinda.

No, Shameless Hussy's already has a wrestling pit.
I think Shakes will have a live simul-cast (sp?) on the jumbotron here (for those who don't want to venture into the Shameless Hussy)
Big Dog! Big Dog! Bow Wow Wow!

Oh yes, I forgot about the Jumbotron. I had it put in storage because somebody keep watching ancient archival holo-vids of the Woody Allen/Olsen Twin nuptials. It might be a good time to bring it out, provided those vids never re-appear.

Woody Allen was a great hero of the 21st century, correct? He and his twin brides saved Planet Earth from some type of Sun-Eater, although David Coulier gave his life to stop it in the end IIRC...
