A coloring error, or has Ayla's hair really gone gray (sorta) like Mekt's??
Look at Garth's right arm. Another coloring error? Maybe not.

I think they're all just in shade so that the REAL Legionnaires stand out.

Ye gads! It's not a joke! Hallelujah!
My eyes must really be going. I couldn't see this clearly until the larger version was posted.
I'm delighted that all three of them are present ... yet are they part of the story, as well?

Barry - whoa....will we see Wildfire, Timber Wolf, Ferro Lad, Kid Quantum, Shikari, Kinetix, XS!!!, Gates, Monstress (hope so!), Kid Quantum II, Chemical King, Kid Psycho!!!, grin grin grin?!?!? If Kid Quantum returns - i'd much rather see Jazmin rather than James...She had attitude, but it was good attitude - James had attitude - but it was all bad...also, if Jazmin returns, give her a little more hair this time around!

Does this mean that there'll be an explanation of what all the kids reading silver-age comics means?

So there was an actual corpse? No mysterious inter-dimensional body-swapping by an unseen agent? Oh no...no...

Bu-- but if Dream Girl really IS dead, I won't be able to buy this issue....! Agreed with Scottsdale: This may be the best picture of Dawny, Blok and Troy ever done.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh, God, I'm so happy that even a few of the pre-crisis legionairres might return, even if only for a brief while! And even if they don't stay, maybe this time I'll get some closure! And people aren't just blowing smoke, Barry, your depictions of those three classic legionairres are fantastic!
If the meek shall inherit inherit the Earth, then I at least want Baffin Island - and a property manager to work for me who is made of sterner stuff than I.

Barry, your depiction of Blok is the best I've seen since Keith Giffen's early days on the Legion books...

Looks like Lyle's getting a new outfit... with a headband! And an 'i' figuring prominently on his chest. He's just to the right of Ultra Boy.
I wonder if the three central characters are in front of some sort of barrier or screen that washes out alot of color for the characters behind them.
Too bad we can't see both hands for any of the three characters in the foreground.
Beautiful cover, Barry. Makes February seem like a *long* time away. And your tease for March only makes it worse!

to those who fear the worst cuz there's no Dream Girl on the cover, remember that Barry said one of the LSH would go bald, and there's no baldy on this cover ('cept for Cham). Dreamy is probably recuperating in sick bay after her Imskian brian surgery.

Good to see the big guy again. Too bad he's wearing those blue-and-yellow tights; I never liked that look on him.

I don't remember him ever wearing blue and yellow tights. Blue and yellow were the colors on his outfit with the shoulder pads. When he wore those pants Barry has him in they were blue and red. Stayed that way, to be best of my recollection, until he went back to the ugly blue shorts.

Ohhhh, PLEASE be real and not a tease. I would love to see these characters back again. Oh man! Blok and Timberwolf interaction would be so cute. And Dawny! Oh!
If they only come back for this one book, I think I'll cry. Well, at least make sobbing noises.

Yes, just seeing Blok and TW on the same cover gives me the warm fuzzies! I've missed their odd-couple friendship all these years.
