I thought about it but said to myself I'd troop it out and was all prepared with my best "whoa and pity me" speech for my first hour freshmen when I saw at least half of them (no exaggeration) had red-runny noses or watery eyes or both. It's going to be an allergy season from hell.

...went to the dentist and got nitrous oxide for the first time. I'm kind of upset with my prior dentist for not trying it before. I think I went through quite a bit of unnecessary pain and discomfort.

... am heading off to Egypt with Mrs. Nihil. All things being equal, I am 99.99999% certain that we will have a wonderful touristy time, and I'll be back here in two weeks with exciting tales of adventures from a far off land. On the other hand... given the state of the world we live in today - on the off-off chance that a couple pasty-faced Americans vacationing in the Middle East should attract any sort of unintended trouble... I'd be remiss in not taking this chance to say, "I think I'll miss you most of all, Legion World". Anyway, knock on wood and enough of all that... I'll see you all in a bit.
