Turns out, I have pharyngitis. Got some antibiotics and perscription cough syrup. Throat still hurts like hell, and the voice comes and goes.

^^Agreed. I was an older student, too. Now, as a professor, I've appreciated having "non-traditional" students in my class. They've usually spent time in "soul-sucking" jobs and know the value of an education.

Like Kent and HWW I found the older students were the ones who were more likely to ask lots of questions
