...woke up with a froggy, swollen throat. Gonna see the doc soon. Turns out, I have pharyngitis. Got some antibiotics and perscription cough syrup. Throat still hurts like hell, and the voice comes and goes.

as someone who has been an older student myself, let me tell you: it rawks! you will do great! and the kids will appreciate you being there - you'll ask the questions they are too scared to ask.

^^Agreed. I was an older student, too. Now, as a professor, I've appreciated having "non-traditional" students in my class. They've usually spent time in "soul-sucking" jobs and know the value of an education.

^^ Older Student too...I was out of school for 15 years before I went back for engineering.
Like Kent and HWW I found the older students were the ones who were more likely to ask lots of questions
