I think Dazzler's current storyline is insanely weird ...
SHIELD agent to infiltrate Cyclop's X-Men and replaced with a disguised Mystique who kidnapped her to drain her of her blood and use it to start a mutant amphetamine business in Madripoor.

This was a really good story. Ali was hiding out as a band member for Lila Cheney, because of all the hate she got after people found out she was a mutant. It ruined her career. Then Malice took possession of Dazzler, playing on her ambition to be a star and not a lowly keyboard player! Then the X-Men bollocks it all up! I mean save the day and free ali of Malices control. Also, If i am correct ... this is the first time Ali uses photon blasts and her powers are expanded to do all sorts of things like use lasers.

It feels less constrained with her hand breaking the border, but they should have done the same with her left foot - and lost the bit of red X at the top.

Best Herald ever? Roller Skates beat Surf Board? Does Galactus have a strange sense of humor? I think I mentioned this in the "What-If/Elseworld's" thread I started, but Dazzler was about 100 times more interesting in this scenario than in her own book. There, she was mostly being chased by Angel vs. that respectable lawyer dude & feeling anxious about snacking too much at parties.  Cosmic roller skate paths aren't any more goofy than, say, Starfire's solarized hair.
