...found out I have a hernia. It's on the side of my abdomen. Not terrible, but beears watching. Thing is, I have had it for a while (like a few years) but never knew what it was until I saw a new Doctor today. Have been told it was other things in the past, but this one made sense.
Also found out a few days ago that a good friend that I used to work with has thyroid cancer. Think they caught it early enough though...
Not having a good run with news lately...

... got what literally might be the most adorable email I've ever received from my wife. I sent her my travel itinerary for this weekend (the places I'd be going, and the real names of the LMBers I'd be meeting up with). A minute or so passed, then I got her reply... "What are their code names?"Yessssss... it's all coming together. Little by little she's being indoctrinated. One of us... one of us.

...got a MAJOR unexpected karmic redress in my favor. I received an email informing me that a deposit on a reservation that I wound up having to cancel - and which I had been informed three months back was forfeit - was, instead, going to be refunded to me in full... tomorrow!
