Thanks to Tromium Crystal at the DCMB. (Why didn't you post it here, TC?!? ) Here . Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning; art by Keith Giffen and Al Milgrom; cover by Tony Harris and Tom Feister
Fan-favorite LEGION artist Keith Giffen returns as we catch up with the various Legionnaires after the stunning events of "Foundations." Chuck Taine and Gear travel around the bowels of Legion World as they perform essential maintenance but soon learn that the planet is infested with a deadly virus...and it may be Superboy's fault!

Hmmm. Not sure on that cover but it is quite different. And was the Giffen issue supposed to be this early?
I wonder how Comics Continuum feels about being beat to the punch on the update by DC themselves? They always release the previews at midnight. This is the first time I've seen DC beat them to the update.

Yeah. And isn't it a week early? Or am I wrong in that?
And Tom (Feister), why are you guys going with the cartoony look for the Legion?

Last months solicitations were on the 18th and October's was on the 20th or 21st. So they are at least a few days early. I knew I was surprised when I saw the 'coming at midnight' announcement on Comics Contiuum today.

Hmm... I find the cover oddly appealing!
And it looks like "Superboy" will be sticking around after Foundations in some form or another...

^I hope not. It's about freaking time that Brainy and Lyle get together, and that stupid obsession with big blondes is really irritating. I guess I don't mind the return of Andromeda.

LOL @ that cover, even if it means we have to endure the S-infestation for longer. And yay @ the Brainy/Laurel bit And isn't that a new costume on Gear (UNLESS they miscoloured...)

Just trying to spread the love around, babe. Anyway, I figure there's no harm keeping the Legion DCMB active, particulary in that we know Waid is actively lurking next door at the Supes: Birthright forum. A few of us were creamin' all over him last weekend. Anyone invite him here yet? Lash! EDE! Naughty boys. You made me late for work bumping all the "mature" threads.

Hopefully we'll actually get to interact with after all these years of silence from DnA. Kitson, at least, seems fairly active on the Empire board. Cheers

Anyone remember when Andy (and Dan) used to post on the DCMB's all the time? It's too bad that he stopped, it was always good to know that our suggestions meant something (although he did debate with posters a bit too much, which is always annoying).

Alright, about time for a fun issue and loved the cover. Not sure I'm looking forward to Giffen's art, since it apparently has not "evolved" from his TMK era. It's a wait and see thing.
Legion of Maintenance Workers?
Domestic Engineer Squad?
What would be a good name for this little team up?

Well, i have to say that the cartoony look from Harris and Co. is a huge turnoff to me. Really. I don't want it for the legion. It's fine for Plastic man or Archie, but not the legion.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

No slight against Giffen. I'd just prefer he wait until after the change in creative teams.

Ooh, yeah, no slight intended on my part against Chris and Chip's work, which I've loved (I was never a big fan of Coipel's art; sorry Olivier). Still, Keith is my all time favorite Legion artist.

I just sent a note to a friend of mine, Jen Contino, who works for The Pulse to see if she can confirm it for us. She's usually pretty good about getting the inside scoops.
