Dick Grayson? I seem to remember a cover where he's being told by Brother Blood to press some button or something that will... electrocute(?) the other Titans. Not sure if he was brainwashed at the time.

I could have sworn Raven was brainwashed by the new Brother Blood, but maybe he just kidnapped her. Hmmm.

I agree with Blacula. I recall a cover with Grayson and white robed Raven either side of Brother Blood.

If I remember correctly he was trying to manipulate her ... and she went along with it for a while because she is disturbed ... I could be wrong BUT ...

My second guess was going to be Magenta. Wasn't her first appearance (as 'Magenta') when she attacked the Titans under BB's influence? Or was it just one of her 'standard go crazy and attack the Titans' periods? My memory of that era is very hazy.

I may have misread this one... but it's as good a guess as anything I might have had.

I wish Magenta weren't nuts too. She had such potential, and with all the grief from her kooky mother... wished she'd had some happiness.

As far as I know, and correct me if anyone knows different - No to Psimon, Doctor Light, Deathstroke and Persuader.

My original question was going to be - Which Titan villain killed a member of the JLA? But then a wiki search revealed that this character had never actually been a JLA member. Though another character with the exact same code name had. It's all a bit complicated but to say more might give the question away, and it will hopefully make sense when the answer is revealed.

I've got to say I'm stumped. I've been looking at lists of Justice League members, but am having a hard time thinking of one who shares a code name of someone else who was killed...

I really thought it was Deathstroke killing the Atom II.

Blackfire killed off the Hawks. But they were impostor Hawks who may or may not have been part of the JLA.

I'll let someone else work out the Hawkman continuity.:)

Blackfire killing Hawkwoman was indeed who I was thinking of. I had always thought that the post-Hawkworld Hawkwoman was just a new version of Shayera Hol. I hadn't realised she was this new character Shayera Thal.

However, I had totally forgotten (if I ever knew it having not read that period of crappy Titans comics) that Deathstroke had also killed a JLA name-sake member in Atom IV, Ryan Choi (after Pratt, Palmer and Cray).

So on that basis, Power Boy should really get the next question. Back to you, Brian!

P.S. thothkins - I believe that the Hawkwoman that Blackfire killed was not the JLA-imposter version. That one had been killed off years before by the JLA-imposter version of Hawkman.

God, the Hawks continuity was a nightmare. Such great characters reduced to an untouchable mess. And now Dan Didio's decided to adopt the same strategy for the entire rest of the DCU!
