For me...
1. TEEN TITANS. I love you, NTT, but the SATT cover can not be denied. Side note: I'm sure Lash will enjoy the floating heads through the years.
2. PLANETARY. But if this was a doubles setup, Planetary/Authority would wipe out the competition...in a most hideous fashion, I'm sure.
3. NEW MUTANTS. ...much to my surprise. It's not that great and Dani's Pippi Longstocking hair action is ridiculous, but I guess there's something about the flash-bang.
4. AMETHYST [MAXI-SERIES]. While the onging series' portrait has lots of charm, I like that eye-of-the-storm tension in the first one.

p.s. I don't think Aqua Lad is going to be very successful shattering that big metal worm submarine with his little wooden oar.

1) New Teen Titans (I think the layout is more dramatic and makes the action clearer)
2) Authority (just seems more striking)
3) New Mutants (dramatic!)
4) Amethyst (Maxi-Series) (the background adds a lot to the atmosphere)

5. PLASTIC MAN. Sorry, Doll Man, but Plas in a parade for cryin' out loud. Not that big on bright yellow covers, either.
6. JUSTICE TRAPS THE GUILTY. In spite of the fact that Mr. Guilty is following the yellow brick road, and in spite of the competition being convicts in STRIPED SUITS!!! (If they had matching striped hats they might have won.)
7. BATMAN. I don't care if that's an iconic Supes pose. Bats is more bright and fun. (?!?)
8. LONG HALLOWEEN. Cool, man, cool. (Ivy looks good too.)
9. MS. TREE.
10. THE MAZE AGENCY. DAVIS. That is all.
11. COMIC CAVALCADE. The veggies look good, but the other side looks more fun. I'm a hedonist!
12. BAXTER LSH. ...I guess. Pose, *yawn*. LSH wins for The Bouncing Boy bubble letters!

5. Doll Man (more striking, no pun intended)
6. JUSTICE TRAPS THE GUILTY(the action is clearer)
7. Batman (just love those giant playing cards)
8. Dark Victory (just visually awesome)
9. Elementals (I just like it better)
10. The Maze Agency (beautiful art)
11. Comics Cavalcade (silly and fun!)
12. I love the Legion, but Infinity Inc. for this one. The more the merrier!

1. I like them both (especially the floating heads on New Teen Titans) but Teen Titans slightly edges it.
2. Planetary had some amazing covers. The one isn't one of my favourites, but it's still better than that boring Authority one.
3. Alpha Flight. I love a mysterious silhouette.
4. Tough, tough, tough. I like them both but the Amethyst ongoing could be a beautiful pin-up (and I normally hate pin-up covers) so that one.
5. Doll Man. Can't go wrong with incorporating the title into the drawing.
6. Yikes. Not really into this style. Crime and Punishment just because I can't think of many covers that have someone sitting in a tree.
7. Superman. It's a classic pose/action (and is this the first time he did it?). And I hate the Joker.
8. Dark Victory. It's quite a striking image.
9. Elementals I guess? Not really into either of them.
10. DNAgents for its weirdness.
11. Comic Cavalcade for its hilariousness.
12. I think I have to go with Ordway on this one so Infinity Inc.

Doll Man, I hate Plastic Man Guilty ... I love a good run down by horse. Batman ... I only hate Supes and his dorkiness more than Batman, plus Robin's cool. Batman Long Halloween, both are amazing covers though.

Elementals .. I love them. omg I want that DNA agents comic! But is that alan davis on Maze? DNA Agents eeeks across for the win!!! World's Finest Comics. I love watching supes do manual labour. Infinity Inc. I think that LSH cover is the worst LSH cover of all time! and by the beloved Steve Lightle no less!

Legion vs. Infinity....tough one. Kind of a generic from Lightle, but I like him. Same for Da Ordster.
However, Infiniy had Da Ordster. Gotta go with Jerry not matter how much I love the Legion.
If it had been an All-Star cover, no question at all.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

Detective Comics - that's scary. (High School Romance is pretty funny too) Sherlock Holmes - that's scary too! Kerry Drake - Those eyebrows are scary Sherlock Homes - trippy. Although that Sean Connery is dynomite.

13. HI-SCHOOL ROMANCE. Let love rule! Especially if it is Backstairs Love.
14. RUSE. Could be either. I think the Ruse logo blends better, and that tipped it.
15. KERRY DRAKE. Nothing against that flat, super-cartoony DT style, but I'm liking KD's more detailed cartoony mode.
16. SHERLOCK HOLMES. Of course it's trippy. He's been getting high since the Victorian era.

1. Teen Titans - 5 floating heads clearly beat 3 any day, plus... DYNAMISM! 2. The very definition of a push. Both cool but if I have to choose... Planetary 3. Alpha Flight - I see several silouettos of some men... 4. Amethyst Ongoing - meh vs. meh, Redhead wins. 5. Doll Man - Meta-simplicity 6. Crime and Punishment - both too busy, but prison stripes caught my eye 7. Superman - iconic simplicity 8. Long Halloween - are we certain that Wes Anderson didn't design this? 9. Elementals - chiaroscuro with a dash of red 10. The Maze - both "bleh" but... the first one? More "bleh" 11. Comic Calvacade - simply by virtue of its absurdity (WF is better art, but c'mon... Flash on a piggy?) 12. LSH - both (yawn) bo-ring, but better curves on LSH 13. Detective - lines and stripes and shadows...oh, my! 14. Ruse - puzzle piece design goodness 15. Dick Tracy - I suppose. Both cartoony, but DT has the nice reflected yellow. 16. Sherlock Holmes - best cover yet! Sold! In fact... off to buy it. 17. Marvel Family - Color vs. none... classic. 18. She-Hulk - sorry, Kyle Baker... 1991 called and... OK, sorry... I'll just stop that now... 19. Lois Lane - Run, Lois, Run... in roshambo, Silver wraps Atomic. 20. New Teen Titans - I don't like either, but avoid fake 80's politics like the plague.

17. BULLETMAN. Pure GA charm! The Marvels are cute, too, but the violin!
18. SHE-HULK.
19. LOIS LANE. Of course.
20. OUTSIDERS.

16. Sherlock Holmes - best cover yet! Sold! In fact... off to buy it. I had been dying to use that cover for something since I came across it a few weeks ago, and yesterday I was thrilled to realize it was a #11. ...then I had to find a suitable opponent.
