I just loved the toy that came out back in the day! Mohawk, red skinned, and heck missing an arm just like the norse god! (loved mythology as a kid and still do). Loved the Levitz Tyraz story (especially the 2nd one when the Controller kidnaps the 5 Legionnaires. What's up with Tyr?

Tyr was the only member of this team to actually make it into a Legion story. The Strangers were intended to battle either the Legion proper or Cockrum's proposed off-shoot team, The Outsiders, who also never saw print in a DC title. The Outsiders were to feature Cockrum's creation Nightcrawler, who later ended up as a member of the X-Men. The LMB Archives
