Um...okay.
Not a bad pop song, and she still has one of my favorite voices, but the video is just appalling.
Five years to work on her third album, and this is the best she could come up with??

That she is.
And her hair is back to its former glory.
Hmmm...if she were ten years younger, she'd make a good Shadow Lass IMO.

She was the only reason I watched the otherwise mediocre horror movie Shark Night.

I haven't watched any of her movies, or her current series, Scorpion.
I did watch her previous series, Smash, for a while. It was good, I forget why I lost interest.

Been on a bit of a 70's kick lately, and this guy's song would definitely fit right in.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops! Something pithy!

Listening to newer stuff from him, but popped back for this one...
...no madness vest at all in it.

As overplayed as this song is, there have been times in my life where nothing has rung more true. I'm going through one of them right now.

Meanwhile on thoth Island...
Brains: Stop watching bird videos with your cat! Can't you see the Fickles Alert!
thoth: Ah, I wondered why it had gone all disco. And that's just the answer! To the jukebox Brains! Select 1980s and Punch It!

Thoth, you'll never believe who had a Europe-only hit single with a remake of "Self-Control":

There are good indy bands I've not heard as much from as Soraya, thanks to this thread
To be fair, she does well with the same routine and the same Audience of Cardboard as last time.

What can I say? She records the covers (three all-covers albums to date) and I listen to 'em and love 'em!

I listen to Pandora when I'm working and I tend to go to the Lorde station ... a lot of Sia there, but also I've been vibing on Birdy, old-school Garbage, Metric and Chrsitina Perri. But other than that, You should absolutely listen to Mike Doughty's "Stellar Motel" album.
