One of the silhouettes (#8 on Nighty's numbered pic) has only one arm is visible and actually does have the bulky upper chest profile of Floyd.... and Lester is probably the new financial backer of the team.

That was the main thing which made me keep those fics at arms' length back in the day, though they were by far the most popular for cartoon fans. Actually I liked Brainy/Violet, too. Actually I liked Brainy/Violet, too. Maybe they could all be together. I see a TON of Brainy/Vi fanfic for in the wild from that series. It was kind of interesting that the cartoon echoed some of the same relationship from the threeboot at the time - and I doubt that they had much creative crossover.

Well, I know DeMatteis did quite a bit of writing in the second season. But I don't know how much writing he had done for DC before that. I always associated him with Marvel: The Defenders and such.
