Figured I'd post my artwork here. I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know what you think, the good, the bad & the horrible. All of my art is colored by hand (don't have a computer program that would work the way I want it to) with Prisma markers. This is the re-vamped Shady...

...And a relatively disappointing Element Lad. I was in a hurry, and before I knew it, he began to suck.

I like the Phantom Girl best, but that might be my personal bias. Thanks for posting those, there's just about too much art here to keep up with these days!

You seem to have gotten it going for your art. (L.L. wrote to me privately.) Photobucket.com and similar sites seem to be more intuitive than Graffiti.net and MyWebpage.netscape.com for simply hosting images. The latter sites have fewer restrictions, however, as to image size and subject matter.

Just be sure to use the THUMB tag instead of the IMG tag if it's more than 300-400 pixels in width.

And [Shady is] very attractive above, by the way. Contemplative while using her abilities. Please post some more!

Edit: Several went up while I was posting this! They're all clearly portrayed and interesting. Even Element Lad, who, while especially slender, is still a plausible body type.

How about a little Optimism?

Yikes! I can't find my original to re-scan it! Once I do, I'll edit the post.

These are really good. I love Black Canary and Shadow Lass especially. Not to mention that Firestorm.

Thank you Viv!

Have a Legion

Well, I tried to fix it & this is the best I could do... Apparently the original is so big that the server automatically shrinks it down.

Wow!!!!

Those are tremndous LL!

Like Grey, I really love the expression on Shady. Ayla and Tinya look great and I happen to like your rendering of Jan. It sure doesn't look at all rushed to me.

That Firestorm shows great motion and I love the pose on Canary. I wish the Optimus & Founders pics were a bit bigger so I could see them in more detail because they both look wonderful but a little hard to make out.

Of all of them though, my absolute favorite is your Batman! It's terrific! I should point out that Bats is one of my least favorite characters. I've never really found him at all appealing but yours just blew me away!

Great job! Hope we see much more.

I agree... that Batman is especially good! That's a tough perspective to draw, but you nailed it!

I think this artwork is very nice. Clean and clear. My advice to you is the advice that was given to me, watch your anatomy. You seem to spend plenty of time and effort on these, inking them and coloring them. Make sure the base figure is as correct as possible, first.

Awesome stuff, LL! I especially like Tinya and Shady (oh, and Batman's cool too). Optimus and the founders are kinda small though ... you can use the thumbnail tab with larger images rather than shrinking them like that.

While I try to re-size Optimus & the Founders, I figured I'd post a couple others. Soundwaves a thumb (first attempt at this, bear with me).

I appreciate that Sketch! I'll take all the advice I can get, especially from another artist! I actually do admit that I'm quite impatient. I enjoy the coloring so much that, on occasion, I jump the gun & don't finish the drawing the way it should be done. I'm working on it!

I have a few favourites here - Batman as #1 - it's the most detailed and you really capture the spirit. THat boot looks ready to stomp on something!

Shady has a great look to her as well, a bit spookier than she's usually drawn. Light Lass looks very athletic - maybe this is a new trend, I saw another Ayla sketch recently in which she was drawn "sturdy".
