Thom who?
Maybe the beard is one of Princess Projectra's illusions to mess with Dreamie.

Perhaps Thoth can pull out a personality for Thom from his beard. (I actually think Thom has some personality - it just wasn't well-defined for most of his Legion career!)

He was supposed to be the "Joe Average" who somehow miraculously never got corrupted by wielding god-like power all the time.
He also had the best costume of anyone in the cartoons.

In #14 of the Levitz run, they were introducing the five new members. At the side there's a roll call. And they forgot to put Star Boy on it. Then there was the time they completely forgot about him, and gave Ultra Boy all his powers. LOL Thoth knows the score. Perhaps he's an alt-ID of Alan Moore? And the award for obscure musical references goes to ... But mainly I just wanted to post the compliment again

Perhaps Thoth can pull out a personality for Thom from his beard. Sorry, Am I pulling it out of thom's beard, Alan's beard or my beard here? It would save a few yelps to know that up front?

I remember the time Dreamy threatened to pull Thom's beard out one hair at a time.

Could he get out of the subsequent murder with a self defence plea this time?

I wonder what he nust have felt when the Legion voted Projectra back in despite her execution of Nemesis Kid

Ah, but she's royalty. They get to execute who they like. >snap<
Oddly, enough Thom's beard is also royalty. B'Ohz B'ehrd is the dashing princely explorer of his race, forced into exile by his hated foes the Rahzohrs. It'll all be in the next Legion run, when B'Ohz crawls from Thom's grave on Shanghalla.

But poor B'Ohz finds Nura weeping over Thom's grave - no other man was ever so studly and so unquestioningly taken in by her charms. Out of pity and in memory of all the nights he spent with her, B'ohz transfers his life force into Thom's body...
As for Jeckie, that's royal privilege for you.

As for Jeckie, that's royal privilege for you. It's the way she orders you around, I don't like. "Snap to it she says" and you just know she's enjoying the "snap" part too much.

I wouldn't mind so much if she were only snapping fingers, and not necks.

I'd not want my fingers, or anything else, snapped by her.

She can snap her own fingers. It's quite melodious, actually.
Though I suspect she's just using her illusion powers.

I imagine it's tougher snapping little robot fingers if you're serpentine.

Unless that was the purpose they were designed for. And not three stooges eye poking? I mean, if you're going to the trouble of having them...

Linus Van Pelt once drew a picture of a raccoon sitting in a cocoon -- or rather, in a "raccocoon."
