Yeah, I was going to add a picture in there of the demonic Blue Devil, but I felt the original would still do the trick. Besides, when the character's creator fails to recognise anything about the revised version, it's possibly best avoided.
Now we just need the untold story.
Trapped in his suit, Devil survives either until the migration from Earth, or through the Great Wars.
He's remembered as a hero to the people of Kol. So great, his face adorns one of their shrines. Perhaps he helped form their community or led them to it or died for it's people?
"He rescued millions."
But perhaps he was still haunted about never being able to be human again. A deep sadness that permeates his legend. There's always a part of him that feels apart.
His reputation reaches across what would be the founding planets of the UP. It's a legend so strong that it may survive centuries.
Who knows how many worlds he was involved in fighting for? He was certainly involved in mystical adventures, considering where his face has ended up (possibly his very being).
Those who set up the Shanghalla shrine took only minor artistic license with the image, or perhaps the Devil Suit altered slightly through events or time.
On Shanghalla, like Quasimodo is often remembered as the Hunchback, the Blue Devil is remembered as Hate Face.
