Guys, it was recently announced the Very Merry Multiverse special will feature the Teen Titans of Earth-11 and their line-up includes a counterpart of Superboy named Laurel Kent.
oooh! that's a delightful splash page. I like that I am actually getting a sense of the powers of each Legionnaire... I mean, I already know what each can do, but it does not look generic, you know? like, most Legionnaires cannot be switched around/are not cookie cutter.
I am really liking Phantom Girl jumping out of the portal and kicking. Shady's shadows too.
who is that below/right of Superboy? power signature looks like Lightning Lass but...
Garth: You know sis, that jacket is a really good idea Ayla: I never used to have anywhere to hold change before I got one. Cos: We could make it a team thing. Garth: Yes! Space Jackets...all in grey... Mysa: I see a Great Darkness! Well, it's more of a Great Overshadowing... Behold The Giffen!
"...not having to believe in a thing to be interested in it and not having to explain a thing to appreciate the wonder of it."
Is that just about everybody? Doctor Fate hasn't re-materialized and it looks like Mon-el is somewhere else, but Cosmic Boy is back. (He has a jacket too, so maybe it is a trend.)
The funny thing is that when I saw Cosmic Boy I thought, "Hey, he's still wearing his jacket from last issue!" but didn't put together with the fact that that was why Ayla was wearing a jacket.
I agree this is a very stunning, action-packed splash page. Great artwork too! And we FINALLY get to see some Legionnaires actually using their powers. Yay!
I'm a bit confused as to what Star Boy is doing with his power though .... it appears as if he's blasting something ... ? That's not how his power works though, is it? Maybe his power is also different in this iteration! Which brings me to ....
I prefer an intangibility-type power for Phantom Girl versus a Gates/Nightcrawler use of her powers, although the visual is really cool. Just sayin'
Jackets are always a good idea! Less likely to lose one than say, to lose a purse!
Batgirl used a handbag in the '60s. Perhaps that could be the cool Legion accessory of the future. I think a jacket *and* handbag combo would unite Silver Age and Modern Fans in a daring and fully accessorized super-future!
All those Legionnaires must have been playing possum, and not hit at all by the axe. At least Supes has separated the villain from the weapon. I'm hoping for a decent story behind yet another splash page. With the team as a huge group, I get the feeling they are being a bit underplayed. They're nearly all taking on single Horraz, where any number of Legionnaires could be taking out large groups. Gold Lantern is a particular victim of this. Nicely framed splash though, he types to avoid Ultra Grumps.

The delayed publication is the one thing I really dislike about this reboot.
Legion Worlds Ten - the final chapter is here. Find out the ultimate fate of our fantastic future friends.Only found in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.
It is really irresponsable and disrespectful of DC and the creators of this series to not tell us in advance that this "final" #12 issue was going to be delayed. Informing us by way of BleedingCool or otherwise, only a few days before the promised release date of December 22 (as untruthfully solicted months ago) is a bit TOO LATE and only adds to their already precarious fan optics. The old bait-and-switch is alive and well in the halls of DC corporation it would seem!
How disappointing. We deserved better treatment than this.
These guys don't know a GOOD thing when they have it ...... meaning US!
I'm not surprised, by any means, but I AM sorry for the fans of the book that were looking forward to this hopefully last issue of Bendis warped nightmare Legion. I am no longer one of the fans by the way. Good riddance, IMHO
..... looking forward to the next creation/re-introduction of the Legion. Hopefully the characters will look more like their classic selves, with back stories that we are all familiar with instead of forced to accept.
