Superman's Feminist Heroine, Lois Lane - 01/12/15 11:15 AM
I think everyone can agree that only an uneducated, borderline-illiterate moron would dispute that Lois Lane is anything but comics' #1 feminist heroine. Through various covers, let's examine some fine examples of this!
On this cover, Lois has taken possession of an artifact that has granted her powers! Powers that might even but probably won't rival those of Superman! You'll notice how Lois isn't even concerned about her sagging pantyhose and thrift shop reject clothes because feminism!
And in a daring display of fearlessness and pro-feminism, the editor plays up an unheard of Lois-as-witch image sure to entice young lads to embrace the feminine mystique!
And it's nice how one can just tell Supes is very happy for his friend and her newfound abilities.
