Ohmygod, There's like thirty seven different showers in this place, which one did you have in mind?

I kinda like like the waterfall one down in the basement next to that room you promised to show me. The one with the like heated pool and enclosed playboy mansion grottos.[/b]
Aren't the grottos nifty? I especially like the one called "Fiji Fantasy"... the air is infused with the scent of fresh papayas and passion fruit, and you can hear the sound of exotic bird calls in the distance...

That's an adults-only grotto... I'm not sure if you're old enough.

Could I see some ID, please?

So, I'm Legion World Legal!

According to Mr. Cobalt, anyway...

I enter the library and close the heavy door behind.

Through the open window, a lively breeze announces spring.

Leather armchair and reliable typewriter: time to start my memoirs.

Wow, it's a bit dusty in here.

[cough]

Anyhoo...

A conversation I had at Comic-Con prompted me to take a little trip down memory lane. I was noting the irony of being so camera-shy, yet likely holding the distinction of being the LWer who has met the largest number of other MB posters in real life. After going through my mental files, I realized that I have met 39 MB folks over the years (or more, if I've forgotten anyone).

Of that 39...

35 currently post, or have posted in the relatively recent past, on LW.

6 are individuals I've met on two separate occasions.

5 are individuals I've met on three separate occasions.

6 are individuals I've met on four or more separate occasions (aren't you tired of me yet!).

6 are individuals whose home I've visited.

7 are individuals I've only met in a non-comic convention setting.

2 are individuals who, as far as I know, have not met anyone else from the MBs.

Why do I get the feeling that more people have seen my face than would be the case if I'd just posted my photo here?? (Not that that means I'm going to... I'm just sayin'...)

Methinks you must be forgetting a few.

My list is 42 (not counting professionals, except for Mechana), and as far as I know there are only a few I've met that you haven't (I'm sure your exclusives trump mine), and Miner's list has got to be longer than mine.

If you're going to keep your title, recount, dammit, recount!

Will there be a new Space Race to see who can meet the most LWers by the end of the decade? And will there be bonus points for whomever scores meeting me first?

10 are individuals I've met on two separate occasions.

3 are individuals I've met on three separate occasions.

5 are individuals I've met on four or more separate occasions(2 four times, 3 five times)

4 are individuals whose homes I've visited (but only 3 households are involved).

3 are individuals I've only met in a non-comic convention setting, but I've met (or re-met) 12 of you in non-comics settings (a couple of you several times).

1 individual who, as far as I know, has not met anyone else from the MBs (except for a significant other he has since recruited into using one of his alts). (another 1 I share only with Abin, and one I share with Cali and Miner).

9 of whom I have crossed state lines with (two multiple times).

10 of you I've met at airports (6 for the first time).

for 5 of us, our first meetings were at bars/restaurants.

that removes certain thresholds of certainty... not to mention multiple visions of the same people.

No!

But, come to think of it, there was something distinctly odd about the oil painting that was hanging in the shower at Pov's place...
