Ok, I love me some Alan Jackson "Let It Be Christmas". And Dolly Parton singing "A Hard Candy Christmas".

Least favorites are..Well I refuse to say so I don't run the risk of offending someone.

My favorite pop Christmas song is "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"! Darlene Love's original is definitely the best, but there are a lot of excellent versions of it out there.

I love that one too! Unfortunately, the radio stations in my hometown never played it when I was growing up.

I've loved it ever since I was a kid and heard it in the opening moments of "Gremlins"! That was the first time I believe I'd ever heard it and never did again 'til years later when I heard the excellent U2 version.

Least Favorite: Peppermint Winter by Owl City. I visibly cringe whenever I have to hear this song it, it's just, it's too sweet even for me and I was born on Christmas. "This peppermint winter is so sugar sweet" is horrible.

Favorite BAD Songs

I'm on a couple message boards. Not sure my least favorite song but this is a lot of boards favorite topic this time of year, lol.

My favorite probably "Carol of the Bells," until I think of something else.

Not one song in particular, but we have a local artist called Jose Mari Chan who is notorious for his ubiquitous Christmas song covers.

There's even a joke that he's become as associated with Christmas as Santa Claus is.

I had to think about this one. I'm really indifferent to Christmas songs. The earlier they appear in the year, the more indifferent I get. But there is one I hear occasionally around this time.



The pacey gee gees on this one have been referred to an Steward's Enquiry.

Least favorite: Maggie May by Rod Stewart

What? It's not a Christmas song?? Still my least favorite.

She stole your heart, and that's what really hurts.

It's not the heart stealing that bothers me, it's the cleaning up of the pumping blood afterwards.
