At least a mini-series has got to be in the works. "LEGION ADVENTURES" would seem to be the most probable title...

Yeah sure, especially if the stories were actually decent. Hope the art would be cool - Ethen Beavers does a pretty cool job with animated style.

Hell, I bought the Legion related issues of the Justice League Adventures so I'd definitely have to be a fully based Legion one.

The intriguing thing about this idea is that it might be our chance to read about some of the Legionnaires that don't exist in this version. What's to stop them from using Chemical King or Blok or Dragonmage or XS or Shikari as supporting characters? (On the show or in this theoretical spinoff comic book.) Nothing in the world.

Edited to add: or Quislet, for God's sake. If ever a Legionnaire was made for a cartoon, it's Quislet.

It'd be fun. I'd probably get the digests though. Read them once and give them away to someone more to the target audience.

JLU and TT Go do things most comics can't these days and tell a story in 22 pages coming out on time every month.

Sure, why not? It'd be very cool to have a (non-clone) Superboy comic book again. Gee, I hope the Legion didn't retrieve Superboy Prime by mistake. lol

I'd read it if it was Kyle Baker.

I'd get it. But that's just 'cause I love JLU and TT Go! They're fun, y'know? Simple, straightforward, no drama too great, no cliffhangers... just real cutesy and easy to enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, I'd never replace my regular comics with them. But still. I find it enjoyable and simple and I'd be on board (s'long as the art was decent and writing not awful).

For those who favor older continuities over the present one, this could actually become their favorite current Legion title if done right... hmmm

I definitely would like an animated Legion mag. And as MatthewE said above, they could use other Legionnaires we don't see anymore. Maybe even a couple of new characters, supporting or otherwise.Or maybe not. tongue

I've really never bought any of the animated-related comics, but I'd probably make an exception for the Legion.

Since this would be the place we would most likely get Tenzil and Chuck, plus the racially diverse members like Dragonmage, Computo, Tyroc, Dawnstar etc., I must respond with a "HELL yes".

And dare I submit that it might even be better than the current ongoing? S'possible.

Odds of it targeting hardcore fans: zero.

I'd pass on this and hope for better things.

I'll pick it up.

When you think about it, a lot of hardcore fans haven't had a book with "their" Legion for quite some time but still get the current title, so this is like just another reboot.

But until we know the creative team's actual feelings about the Legion (longtime lovers or just another writing gig), I probably won't feel as loyal to it since it's "just" a TV spin-off and would drop it if it stinks.

But similar to what others have said, odd designs aside, this could be the closest to "our" Legion many of us have had in a long time and could surprise us with the right writer.

According to various sources ( Newsarama , CBR and Comics Continuum ) when Dan DiDio was asked about the possibility of an animated Legion book during the DCU panel at Wizard World Chicago today his response was "there's a really good chance of that."

how about an All-Star Legion instead...maybe a mini or max series drawn by Perez. Now there is something I could support.

Yeah! I would support that - but only if Amanda was the artist!

I'd definitely support a book based on the toon for the first several months at least.

I would buy it, bag it, and let my grandkids read it at my estate sale.

(sort of like Green Lantern Rebirth)
