I thought it unlikely. 'Cause he *was* useless. Almost as much as he was whiny. I bet even his flying made a whiny noise as he moaned about his lost love while swooping overhead.
Speaking of Whiny Lost Loves Monthly. Was it Lilith? I know she was there at the start of the Baxter run, and she had precog powers.

It WAS Lilith! after Lilith found out she was Thia's daughter, she was getting ready to become an Olympian. she warned Kole of this and asked her to stay on Olympus for her safety. Alas, poor Kole didn't listen, and we all know what happened...

What unusual vehicle did the Titans travel in to get to Mr Jupiter's old town?

It was not a sailboat, but a type of something that travels across the land.

One of those old-timey, hand-cranked platform things that roll along train tracks (I clearly have no idea what they're called)?

Not that, and that was the correct name for them. Like your answer it is a variation of a common mode of transport, but not one that you'd normally take a drive in (unless you were of a particular profession).

Not a fire truck or an ambulance, but an ambulance is certainly along the right lines.

Yay! It was a hearse! Very in keeping with the creepy tone the book was trying to have at the time. Not to mention the Munsters model kits you used to see as ads in the books at some point too!
Over to you Blacula!

I loved that era although I don't think I've ever read that issue.

2-part question:
Cyborg's spotlight issue in Teen Titans Spotlight was the very first DC comic by
1. which famous comic book writer;
and featured
2. which famous non-Titans villain?

Arguably more famous than both Kurt Busiek and Peter David.
Definitely more famous than Mirror Master and Bug-Eyed Bandit (except among entomologists).

Hmmm I would say the writer is less famous than those two writers, although perhaps more well known among a certain segment of fandom.
The villain is probably in between those two character, in terms of fame.

Hmmmm that whole run is a vague blur for me but I'm sticking with Bat foes
How about Greg Rucka and Two Face?

Two-Face is correct! The story explored the similarities/differences of them both having half normal faces IIRC.
Greg Rucka is not correct but like Rucka, and some of the other guessed writers, this writer is also known for their non-comic book work.

Alright - I'm 50% there ... I had a vague recollection of Cyborg facing a bat foe (and thinking cool!)
Brian Michael Bendis?
