You can add my voice to the (hopefully large) chorus calling for the return of the EG. It really was one of the things that set the 80s Legion apart from other books.

I totally agree with that. The EG gave reader a much fuller indepth experience that made all of those Legion worlds come to life.

Especially during the Great Darkness Saga, the Encyclopedia Galactica entries really added to the backstory, in an unobtrusive way.
