I recently read an internet article on the Bizarre Sex Life of the Porcupine, which got me thinking about our pal, Porcupine Pete.

In the interest of keeping this a family post, I am not linking to the article, but I am sure a quick Google will reveal all, if you are that interested.

Keep in mind that Pete is 5-10 times the size of your average porcupine.

On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't have brought it up. Maybe you should just delete this thread.

This thread has the same chance of getting deleted as my "Do not post in this thread" had a chance of not having anybody posting in it.

Thank goodness. I've been waiting for a thread where I could use the word prick without getting into trouble.

Prick, prick, prick.

First person to use it as a triple entendre gains my eternal respect.

I have tried and tried and tried to delete this thread. Just when I think it has been delete Poof there it is again. I think it might be sentient. And magical. Or a mutant.

Try pricking its finger while it's using the spinning wheel. That should at least put it to sleep for a hundred years.

It's a big universe. Maybe there's a porcupine girl out there somewhere. Or Brainy could build him a Supergirl robot.

Q: How do two porcupines have sex?

A: Very carefully!

More importantly, do they get a rush?

That could be a sad sort of power to have, narcotic quills, leading to some unscrupulous sort chaining you up in the basement and either 'milking' you for drugs to sell, or bringing people in to pay to be nicked by your quills so that they can get a high available nowhere else...
