We're all familiar with Cosmic Boy and his mental & physical abuse of both Light Lass and Night Girl, which were featured prominently during the Legion's run in Superboy/LSH!
What you may not be aware, is that Cos has slapped numerous other characters off-panel! For instance:
Lester Spiffany was tongue-lashed by Cosmic Boy, and then the scene cuts to Lester blasting off in his space-spaceship, declaring the Legion to be stupid. What isn't shown is the pimp-slappage Cosmic Boy supplied him after Lester got uppity with him!
We all know how Pol Krinn AKA Magnetic Kid committed space-suicide by entering a magic keyhole, in an effort to escape the lecherous advances of Ayla Ranzz. What we aren't aware of, is that Cosmic Boy slapped the poor guy silly the day before that mission!
The real reason Tyroc appeared so infrequently? Cosmic Boy's continual off-panel slapping of the guy. Seems like ol' Rokk wanted to be the only boy showing off his legs (which also explains Colossal Boy's short-lived leg-baring outfit).

Cosmic Boy slaps the hell out me all the time, but I still love him, and I hope that one day he will change and become the tender, caring man he made himself out to be before the indentation of his palm print became a part of my face.

Rarely seen Substitute Legionnaire Salami Lad was often the subject of Cos' ire. Its hard to count the number of times Cos was off-panel slapping the Salami.

Sinde, unfortunately. He got fed up with her chatter and, as they left the cinema (space-cinema?), he slapped her. Outraged, she hailed a hover-taxi, never spoke to him again and even refused to appear in future issues.

When he first met Garth, and Garth was oogling over Imra on the transport, Rokk slapped him off-panel, to help him gather the sense not to think dirty thoughts about the Titanian!

When lil' baby Pol was born, Rokk himself administered the slap to the behind. Then he slapped Lydda, the doctor and the FTD delivery man. It was one of those special moments he had to share.

It's a little know fact, but Cos was an early practitioner of Braalian Slap Therapy.
He wasn't just being petty and mean... he was *helping* the slapees find their better selves.

He should have slapped Thom for forgetting to have the robo-head checked for explosives, but at least he got the mental abuse in!

Or maybe he did slap him off panel and that explains the bruise on Thom's face!
