In Adventure Comics #307 (APR 1963), we are introduced to Mystery Lad who we learn in the story is really Element Lad. Element Lad then goes on to be a Legionnaire in long standing with many, many fans.
But, who were the true Mystery Lads of that issue? The two other applicants who not only didn't make the cut, but didn't apparently even warrant names.
First, there's -
Emerald Lad? That's my personal favorite name for him (mostly because of it's similarity to Element Lad), but howabout Green Guy, Camouflage Kid, Lime Lad, Jade Jack, or Kelly Kid?
Then, there's -
Camera Kid? That's what I call him since he refers to his "camera eye" power. The Legion poster refers to him as "Camera Eye," but I'm not sure I like that as a Silver Age name. There's also Movie Boy, Video Vic, Flashback Kid, or Tele-Kid as possibilities.
If we can reach a consensus, then I'll use that for their smilie names.

I always thought the first one was a version of Radiation Roy, and the second was Visi-Lad, who later appears slightly different at the Legion Academy.

Didn't think of Radiation Roy, but I did always assume this was Visi-Lads first appearance.
However, since we are officially naming them I would offer up Radiant Boy and Kid Projector
