The following is a spinoff fanfic from this main fic I've been trying to finish.
First off, this is not a Kingdom Come story. This is about a character from the Kingdom Come world, an OC.
This first chapter is a prologue, featuring the Action Comics Rokk, Imra, and Garth, with guest appearance by the Corinthian and Black Orchid.
The villains appearing are Hypnotia, Dreadknight, Blizzard, Whirlwind, and Blacklash from the Iron Man cartoon. And Marcie Cooper, Harlequin III, from the KC timeline.
The cartoon Legion appears in the next chapter.
The anime this crosses over with is one of my favorites, Revolutionary Girl Utena. Information inside.
I'll have to check out more of your stuff.

There's not a word yet, for old friends who've just met.

I never really thought too much of it. Everybody loved Imra. *Brainy* even loved Imra. She's like the Jean Grey of the Legion. (Although if R.J. Brande admits to a thing for her, the way Xavier admitted to being in love with Jean, I'll be uber-creeped out...)
Cosmic Boy being *romantically* in love with Imra doesn't work for me 'though. Traditional love triangles are so sixties. Jazz things up, having him be totally pining for Garth.

Hmm... Well, at least some of the costumes then were kind of cool. [shrug] I was thinking of the cartoon, actually. I skipped out before the 1990s got going and I'm only now finding out about everything that happened (and then un-happened) while I was gone.

[beats head on keyboard] Please, no.

There was an alt-superhero book years ago where I told the author the same thing about his primary characters. Although I've now suffered through enough of Ballard's/Cronenberg's *Crash* to know that what you describe is not really PINING, as such. [cough]
