Long story short, it comes to choosing the cover of a DC comic book that portrays the Legion of Super-Heroes (on the blog I linked a lot of web galleries to make a quick search in that direction) and "reinvent" it freely.
The winner will receive these comic books: DC Universe # 0 and Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds # 1-5, forming a single story illustrated by George Pérez.
Anyone intending to participate may send their work via email at info AT glamazonia DOT it. The deadline is Sunday, October 31, 2010.
there also were a few drawings which i couldn't admit into the actual contest because they didn't picture the legion (!), but i published them anyway at this link:

Some of those entries are great! I especially love the one of Wildfire. You need to post them on the Legion World Facebook page!!

The homage to the Wildfire LSH Annual #7 cover is EASILY the best of the lot. Anatomical errors (as I think you blame for not awarding it the prize) are forgivable since Wildfire doesn't really have anatomy - all but the Coipel design for him basically amount to "a hot-air balloon in roughly human shape", after all.

the wildfire piece was so good i gave it an award anyway, even if it didn't win. it does suffer from a lot of anatomical errors, though.
i liked best the winning drawing cause in my opinion it was based on a stronger and funnier idea. in short, the whole scene is a joke which puts the legion nto the world of the manga "saint seiya", which is hugely popular here in italy.
