Hated Mal as Hornblower (or Herald) Wish they had left him as the Guardian. That was awesome. As for Karen...Stinger would be a much better name

Ok, Lash I will give Mal the benefit of the doubt. With all those different costumes and codenames (the black DC version of Hank Pym?) I am sure to find something I like.
But geez man look at Bumblebee! Marv Wolfman didn't draw that picture or make that micro.
But as I said the Titans Go version MUCH cooler.

i am stuck really liking these two for some unknown reason i suspect it's because of the era they're from, rather than the actual characters the little geek boy (ok, big geek here) in me gets all excited at each appearance, even though it's never amounted to much
with this generation - Bumblebee, Hornblower/Mal, Lillith, Hawk, Dove, Golden Eagle -- i can never tell if i like them for who they are/how they are presented , or if it's just because i was young when i first saw them and thought "HOW COOL?! MORE HEROES!!"
(which is probably how the Legion got me)

Was Bumblebee's appearance in the Dr. Light fight the extent of her return?
Maybe she'll be more active in the 'One Year Later' Titans...
I really like the animated version. Hope she's capitilized upon in the comics. (Though it didn't seem to do Shayera any good...)

Yeah, the TTGo! version of B'Bee was pretty hot.
Andy, you are probably right-- it might be a case of us being young and then more brightly-clad heroes show up and it was WAY COOL to our little noggins and we never lost that "way cool" feeling toward those characters.
I know the 70s revival of TT was my first exposure to Lilith (I wondered why she was wearing jeans and a striped t-shirt instead of the neat green getup she had on the cover), and stuff like that sparked my interest and sent me to the back-issue bins.
The same sort of feeling/circumstances also struck me with LEGION, but I was able to get more into LSH because there was so many MORE LSH comics out there.
Anyhoo, I too will always love Mal and Karen and their contemporaries, and am THRILLED that a whole new generation gets to be exposed to them through TTGo!
