I was thinking about this very issue this week. I'd love to see Red Arrow take on a student.
I don't think Nightwing mentoring Robin really counts since that's Batman's sidekick. Does the Star Spangled Kid/Stripsey/Stargirl count?
In that *other company* has the Falcon ever taken on a student?

Nightwing having a sidekick named "Flamebird" would be very natural, if Bette wasn't already using the name.

Hmm. The Fab 5, former sidekicks all, seem to be more "big sib" for the new sidekicks/legacy-carriers of their mentors. Dick for Tim, Donna for Cassie, Roy for Mia, and I'm presuming Wally for Bart. I have no idea about Garth, though.

Actually, Wally and Bart almost works, since Bart was Kid Flash to Wally's Flash, except Wally tended to foist Bart off on other mentors (Max, Jay) rather than taking him on as a sidekick himself.

Nightwing and Ravager sort of had a mentor/sidekick thing for a bit. That's a part of the background to Deathstroke's latest hate-on for the Titans. And there was that Nite-wing kid. Not to mention the she-rapist, Tarantula. After those three, I think Dick'll swear off having a sidekick for a good, long while!
It seems the PTB are maybe trying to find a sidekick for the character, though. His personality and history would indicate that he'd be the 'go-to' guy. Which is maybe why he shouldn't have one.
Roy, I think, is the most likely to become a mentor. He had a scene or two with Damage in the previous TITANS series that made me think he'd be a good fit as a mentor. Plus, it'd be another step in his 'redemption' journey.
Donna's like an uber-mentor. She doesn't limit herself to just one. Though that's mostly based on pre-Harbingered or WWannabee Donna.
I imagine if Garth gets his kid back that someday Cerdian'll be his sidekick. Maybe sooner than later, if his white hair indicates a greater passage of time for his family than his missing year (or whatever time-frame he's actually been abscent in the DCU).
Who knows what's up with Wally? DC has flubbed up the Flashes so seriously that the only one I have any interest at all in right now is Jay Garrick. And he's basically the mentor of a whole *team* of sidekicks.

Y'know, Argent asked to be Robin's sidekick at one point. It was sort of weird, since Tim's basically Batman's sidekick (or partner-- whatever). She really would've been the sidekick of a sidekick.
