Keith Giffen: why do people complain about TMK if that's the best mainstream book (out of Vertigo) ever made? And why that level of sophistication and experimentation never got back at any level from DC?

Someone be sure to demand Matter-Eater Lad and that "Aw Yeah Legion!" be used as the new battlecry!
I like it...the Aw Yeah Legion part is definitely catchy and while I imagine it will be technically difficult to pull off, actually integrating Matter-Eater Lad into it is conceptually brilliant and in all likelyhood a comics first...
In fact I surmise that it is a first in all of battlecrydom as well, literary and otherwise.
Now you my friend...you think outside the box.

Superboy, I cannot take credit for someone else's work... and I'm not! It was completely my idea to modify the "Aw yeah Titans" catchphrase from the new TINY TITANS comic to suit the Legion. Another example of my creative modifying in action! I'm beaming with justifiable pride! Really, though, it *does* work for Tenzil, doesn't it?
Hasn't anyone met Giffen yet? Tell him I bought 2 copies of A-Bug Year None # 1 INCLUDING the jacked-up price on his variant cover! And I'd do it AGAIN!!!

I forget if this has been posted elsewhere or not, but I feel like bragging.
Artwork by Nightcrawler, Monkey Eater Lad, LEGION-John and myself were all selected and including in the Con souvenir book (which sports a nice Ross LSH cover, the vertical one with the 70s LSH flying after Kal. Ross' booth also has a gigantic version of that image) on the main floor, and as Scott has posted, Gary's banner also uses that image prominently).
