Of course there is precedent for multiple nicknames:
He Who Wanders is called HWW, He Who and Huey.
Raging Bull has been called both Ragey and Arby (RB).
Raging Bull and Semi-Transparent Fellow both call me Hoppy, even though most people call me Rocky.
I'm sure there are others.
Not to mention the slight variations (Cobie/Cobes; Deddy/Deds)
Then you have some who never get a nickname. Lad Boy, for example, is always Lad Boy.

I've had a nickname or two myself (with "Lardy" being most prominent, of course)...some of which can even be spoken of in polite company!
I've also coined a number of prominent LMB nicknames: It was I who dubbed Loser Lad "Lou", He Who Wanders as "Huey" and Kid Therod as "Roo" (his first name was Rudy). I also started calling Raging Bull "Arby" and Eryk Davis Ester "Edie" more recently.
Only recently have I aceded to referring to Cobalt as "Cobie". Never really dug it as it sounded more like something a girlfriend would call him! So I was all "Cobester" for the longest time. But it grew on me eventually, so I use "Cobie" occasionally now.

To paraphrase the wonderful compliment Ram Boy just gave me, I'm more like the Keeper of the Flame of Eighties Alternative, with an emphasis on the UK.
