Okay, so football season's still 1 month away. KID PRIME CAN'T WAIT!!! Seriously, I thought this would be a good time to start this one up again, since it was so much fun last year. And now that EDE's going to be closing his top 10 legionnaires poll soon, everything will dovetail nicely.
Some of you may remember this one from when I did it last year on the old DCMB's. The rules are very simple. You have to pick your personal top 25 favorite Legionnaires, and rank them in order of 1 to 25. Every so often, I will compile a numerical ranking of each Legionnaire voted upon on a weighted scale just like the sportswriters use when ranking the top college football teams in the U.S.A. Every #1 vote gets 25 points, every #2 gets 24 pts, and so on until your #25, who gets 1 point. There's really no way to do this kind of poll under the automated poll system, so everyone will have to post their own top 25 list.
Some additional guidelines: Every character who has ever been a Legionnaire, postboot or preboot, is eligible for selection. If a character is active in both periods, it doesn't matter which codename you use. For different characters who have the same codename (Lyle Norg and Jacques Foccart, for example,) make sure you specify which one. There are only two major exceptions to the preboot/postboot rule. Princess Projectra and Sensor the Snake are considered to be different characters for the purpose of this poll, as well as Kal-El and Kon-El.
This should be a lot of fun. The game last year was a big success! Let's all go out there and vote our TOP 25 Legionnaires of all time!!!

Here's the first count! A BIG thanks to Mystery Lad, Eryk Davis Ester, rokk steady, Arachne, Juan, Danny Blaine, and... well, me, for playing here at the beginning of the game!!! But enough about us, let's get on to what everyone's interested in... the RANKINGS!!!
Analysis: Lyle takes the early lead in the poll, and with no first-place votes. He was in 4 voters' top 10 though. Also, there is a HUGE logjam in the upper middle of the poll, with just 20 points separating #5 and #19. There is also a large number knocking on the door of the top 25, with numbers 26-30 just 10 points out. Finally, I'm a little surprised at how poorly Spark and Kid Quantum are doing thus far.

Ahh, I thought I'd lost someone. I ended up deleting Tellus from the bottom 'cos I thought I'd picked 26. So add him back as 25 and bump everyone else up.

My top 25 Legionnaires are: 1. Saturn Girl 2. Dream Girl 3. Shadow Lass 4. Timber Wolf 5. Mon-El 6. Cosmic Boy 7. Ultra Boy 8. Phantom Girl 9. Princess Projecta/Sensor 10. Wildfire 11. Invisible Kid (Lyle) 12. Duo Damsel/Triad 13. White Witch 14. Chameleon Boy 15. Brainiac 5 16. Light Lass 17. Supergirl 18. Dawnstar 19. Shikari 20. Element Lad 21. Bouncing Boy 22. Matter Eater Lad 23. Superboy/Kal El 24. Gates 25. Blok If Dawnstar/Shikari are considered to be the same person, then I would add Colossel Boy to the list.
