Well, gee, however did that happen?
*will vote later on this round*
Looks like we have the same strategy, Boot
If it ain't obvious I'm prioritising characters to save rather than the characters I'm voting to eliminate... it should be!
Seriously, I always find these "vote to kill" games (with or without variant rounds) a tad hollow - I prefer the heal/hurt methodology, where you can directly influence both ways, rather than just the one.)

You should host a game like that sometime, 'Boot. I think this board has only seen one of those before (to my knowledge, at least).

I had one before where we ranked Postboot Legionnaires we wanted to stay, instead of for characters to eliminate. The results were different, up to a point. Triad, XS, Invisible Kid and Gates were still obvious winners, but Kinetix, Andromeda and Monstress lasted far longer than they usually would because they had enough loyal fans to offset the lack of love from other voters.
On the other hand, Cosmic Boy, Ultra Boy and Timber Wolf were eliminated much earlier than I expected they would go.
Ranking games measure the strength of love for a character, and I find it fascinating - there are universally loved characters, universally hated ones, universally *meh* ones, and polarizing ones.

I'm sure you're also considering the value of previous round votes - these games owe a lot of tie-breakers to them!
