According to HotDog Magazine, Anthony Hopkins is no longer going to be playing Superman's father Jor El in the upcoming movie to which director McG is apparently attached to direct again.

Hopkins reportedly left the production when Brett Ratner did and has no plans on doing the film without him.

Perhaps they could re-write the Superman legend and instead of blowing up Krypton they could just have Marlon Brando eat the planet.

I keep telling everybody that...!

My housemates give me so much grief for some of the crazy things that come out of my mouth. But if I just kept that stuff in my head, I'm sure I'd be institutionalized, and not just my normal (certifiable [Wink] ) self... [Roll Eyes] [Urk!]

After hoping that this movie would materialie for over 6 years I really really doubt that this movie will make it out the gate.
