Author Topic: IT GIRL & THE ATOMICS MLLASH bite into the all-caps posted                       Qurl!!!! Issue 1 was FAB-YOO-LOSA. The original THE ATOMICS series is what turned me on to Mike Allred's art and those characters have a special place in my heartaloon. The new team is doing them justice. Meanwhile, various other members appear in the ongoing IT GIRL stories, and also characters/plots from the original series are also used! I may feel the pity but I'm holding onto my $2.99. I AM thinking of tracking down some Atomics back issues though ... I've also been salivating over Madman trades for several months now. Is Madman worth it? As a solo character, I wasn't feeling the ginchy. Perhaps, though, that was my own underdeveloped sense of ginchy back then? As for THE ATOMICS-- they have the LASH GUARANTEE OF GINCHINESS. You **MUST** seek out the back issues or the series collection. It is a FAB-YOO-LOSA series and without it you are incomplete. Pure Allred in all it's weird, beautiful glory! And the Atomics is even BETTER! I think Mike Norton, the artist on Revival, is also the artist on It Girl? If so, he's having one helluva summer! I'll be picking this up when I next go to the CBS.
