Not just right now. Nah - how did you spend your free time before you had internet access? What would you do if you disconnected?
OK, I wasn't building a better mousetrap or anything. I was probably watching too much TV. Now that I don't have cable, I'd probably read if I disconnected.

Since I watch TV while I'm online, that wouldn't change (I'd just be lying down instead of sitting and typing). I'd probably be reading some comics that I still haven't gotten around to reading (there's always something), or whatever book I'm in the middle of, or I might be drawing.

I'm frequently (although not right now) online and watching TV - particulary easy (& comfortable) with a laptop (*sob*!). But even this desktop is set where I can see the TV.

I think I slept more before I had internet access at home. I have a tendency to stay up later because I'm online. If I didn't have internet access, I'm not sure I would be staying up late to the same extent reading or doing something else; I'd probably just go to bed.
As for the non-late night internet time, I'd probably spend it reading more, both comics and otherwise.

I don't have TV. I used to read, read, read, read, read.
Play the piano (poorly).
Weed the garden (that difference shows!).
Long walks in forest and on beaches.
Read, read, read, read.
I spend a lot more time on-line now with this board. Quite honestly, probably more than is good for my brain, if you believe in internet addiction. But it's okay, I can stop anytime. Really. I'll stop ...uh...tomorrow. No, next week. Probably after Labor Day, that would make sense. Uh....does anyone have the number of the Betty Ford Clinic?

before I had the net at home my front room was my painting studio (I've moved all that to a proper studio now) so I'd be trying to be artist.... or watching television.... or buying shoes and CDs most probably.

I'd probably be reading more tech manuals for work. I haven't done much leisure reading, beyond my comics, in over a year. Every spare moment is reading some new software or XML book or something.
I'd also get pack into painting ceramics and the lead-free lead figures you play DnD with. Maybe I'd catch up on my TV shows or DVD's too.
But I'd would most likely just end up spending the time with Caroline. We don't get much time alone now because of her parents and my responsibilites at work.
