Author Topic: Artful Dodger Couldn't Dodge Death...Jack Wild Passes at 53 Lightning Lad Founder posted                          Probably better known to my generation as Jimmy, the boy on H.R. Pufnstuf, Jack Wild passed away today at the age of 53 from oral cancer. Wild was nominated for an Oscar when he was only 16 for his role as the Artful Dodger in the Film "Oliver!". But it was as Jimmy, the boy took his magic flute on a boat ride and was kidnapped to Living Island by Witchiepoo (I work with someone who laughs like her) that I remember him for. I guess he didn't have much of a career after Pufnstuf because of a drinking problem. And another piece of my childhood dies. R.I.P.
