Anyone remember that "mod" superhero from the pages of Bob Hope's DC Comics title during the mid-to-late 1960s? His alter ego is Tadwallader Jutefruce(a pun on fruit juice get it? )the nephew of Bob Hope!
His battle cry varies; "Down with Lawrence Welk!" or "Blech to Lawrence Welk!"
He has a guitar with gauges and knobs on it.
Should Super-Hip be revived for today and what changes would be made to him?

Super-Hip is something only Arnold Drake could have dreamed up!
I'm surprised DC hasn't brought him back as a character that would fit in on MTV's 'Skins'.

I've never heard that. Way to teach me a new vocabulary word, 45 year old comic!

You know, I was wondering about that myself, but didn't get around to looking it up!

Clever! I would think that an imported funeral stand would cost more than 35 cents, though, even in the '60s.

Would Super-Hip seem out of place in the 21st century with that Austin Powers outfit of his or would he hand his name down to a hip-hop oriented young person(male or female)?

The recent Super-Hip appearance in Doom Patrol was far out!
I demand Giffen follow his DP room with a Super-Hip series that also features Robotman!

Cool. I hadn't realized Krankenstein, Count Drinkula and Dog-Boy had appeared anywhere other than in JERRY LEWIS.
