I'm hoping that I will get entries on these Bits items for the LW Directory

Faraway Lad's Onevision - Empresses, Kings, and Heroes?

Lash's Trash Lass, Girl Garbage Collector: The Series, (Lash AND EDE's) MEL: TS, DOOMED GAY ROMANCE: TS

Future's Onevision - LMBP: The Movie and LMB Bumper Stickers

Viv's Legion of Message Board Super-Heroes

Greybird's Solace in a Stellar Night

Loser's Gallery

Star Boy's Legion Park and Legion of Simpsons Heroes.

VtM's L.E.G.I.O.N. '04

Cobie's The LMB Untold Tale: The Wedding of Cobalt and Spacey and the SMB of Earth-4

EDE's 21st Century Legion

Gina Robotgirl's Chibi Legionnaires

Dean's Black Vinyl Legion

and a write-up for The Ongoing LMBP Tag Team Thread
-------------------------------------------------

Mrs. Hill's Legion 35C series and Monkey-Eater Lad's Museum of Legion Arts are already listed in the Directory, as well as several LMB Adventures and Onevisions. This may help you in writing your entry. Also, the entries are being hyperlinked and this may increase traffic to your work. Thanks, gang!

Do we just write them here?

TRASH LASS: GIRL GARBAGE COLLECTOR

Set in present-day Memphis. Brenda Fleer is an employee of the Department of Sanitation by day, but battles a different kind of trash by night: the forces of G.A.R.B.A.G.E! Aided by her mysterious ally The Savage She-He, Trash Lass does what she can to make her city just a little bit cleaner!

DOOMED GAY ROMANCE

A collection of short stories focusing on the most doomed relationships of all: gay ones. Plus lots of other ongoing stories, like the current one involving a slasher with a thing for names and features like ALL IN THE FAMILY-- a handy guide to the types of homos out there!

MATTER-EATER LAD: The Series

Set in the postboot continuity (which just ended-- eeek!), MEL:TS focuses on the less-prominent castmembers from the Legion's rich past. Current issues have focused primarily on Tenzil, Calorie Queen, Lester Spiffany, Questar, Plant Lad and Westerner as well as original characters Tiffany Spiffany and Opposable Big Toes Boy.

These 8 have pretty much become the primary cast, though the cast list is ALWAYS fluid and evolving.

*Eryk, feel free to add please!*

Yes you can post entries here or, if you're more comfortable, PM them to me.

I'll hold off on MEL: TS till coparent EDE posts his thoughts.

LASH, I think your All-Smiley Legion Tales thread is worth a write-up too. What do you think?

And, just a personal question, will MEL: TS get rebooted in December, as well?

{ Greybird's "Solace in a Stellar Night" }

My fan-fiction story about Mon-el and Dawnstar making a connection (where the anti-Time-Trapper "Conspiracy" did not happen) was written in Summer 2001, two years before LW.net was founded. I posted it here after having done so elsewhere.

Since it's not a OneVision or personal fan-art gallery that's being spun out here first, nor an ongoing collaboration in Bits like that of Lash and EDE, I don't believe "Solace" is really appropriate to be listed in such a directory. Thanks for asking, though.

Okay Grey, I shan't include it per your request. I did enjoy reading it. Lar and Dawny are an interesting and engaging couple.

re: the future of MEL:TS... Eryk and I need to talk, definitely. None of the characters lost in the time-stream figured much or at all in our stories, and that continuity isn't shown to be destroyed or anything, so.... we'll see.

Thanks for thinkig of the Smiley theatre. Here's a li'l write-up...

LEGION ALL-SMILEY THEATRE

Using the sensational graemlins devised by Nightcrawler, classic Legion tales are retold in all-smiley form by your humble host MLLASH! Also home to the occasional Legion Hostess Ad and other graemlin-related goofiness!

Miss T is this the sort of thing you want?

EMPRESSES KINGS AND HEROES.

Set during the Stu Rat administration this is the story of a black ops mission. The tale introduces Gigglebot Girl and a new villain for the LMBP called the Enema Empress. This tale explains once and for all why Cobalt Kid is security officer for Life and cannot be removed as well as Faraways permanent position as Ambassador.

I'll do a recap of all five of my Onevisions later for you, Miss T. You know, when I'm not supposed to be working at stuff! [Big Grin]

Loser's Gallery: A gallery of drawings by various artists, colored using Photoshop by Loser Lad. Includes Legion, LMB and non-Legion art, and both professionally drawn and fan art.

Dean's Black Vinyl Legion: What if the Legionnaires decided to wear all black and simplify their personal icons?

The Tale of Cobalt and Spacey a Onevision tale written by Cobalt Kid that chronicles the lives of Cobalt Kid and Space Tart. It explains the romance and tragedy of how they met, how they were pulled apart and how their relationship evolved from their first meeting to the tragic death of Space Tart.

The Tale of Dr. Albert Hoffman a Onevision tale written by Cobalt Kid that explores the continuing war between Cobalt Kid and his arch-nemesis Dr. Albert Hoffman and Dark Conan from the first year of the LMB to year five. It sheds light on what really happened to Cobalt Kid during all his absences and why he and Space Tart were driven apart.

The Price of Security a Onevision tale written by Cobalt Kid exploring a major adventure of Year Five and Legion World. The boy Elagabolus appears on Legion World and chaos follows him, and it's up to the various members of the LMB to solve his mystery and how it relates to the destruction of the LMB, before Legion World pays the price. Starring virtually every member of the early year five LMB.

Journeys and Destinies a Onevision tale written by Cobalt Kid chronicling the continuing saga of Elagabolus, as a small group of LMBers take Elagabolus off of Legion World and investiage the origins of his power and Septimus. Starring StuRat, Lash Lad, Arachne, Cobalt Kid, LardLad, Grey Birdboy and Invisible Brainiac.

An Untold Tale: the Wedding of Cobalt and Spacey in a previously untold tale of the LMB in their year four, the LMBers reminisce about how Cobalt Kid and Space Tart finally settled down and were married. The festitivities of the bachelor and bacherlorette parties, the wedding, the reception and other facets of the joyous occasion are recalled.

The Historical Origins of the LMB Triumvirate a Onevision written by Cobalt Kid that examines the transition of the LMBP to Legion World, the origins of the Legion World armies, and how the three Triumvirs and their most trusted advisors came into power.

Also by me:

Cosmic Boy: the Series An ongoing series written by Cobalt Kid chronicling the adventures of the greatest hero the 31st century has ever known: Cosmic Boy!

Also- if other posters don't see this in time, or are too busy to write their own up, I'll do what I can to add them in (i.e. Dev, Lardy, etc.)

Rather than mentioning the current cast, which will change over time, leading the directory to need to be updated, I'd just mention some of the characters who have been given more prominent roles over the course of the series.

You're right Eryk... since I'm envisioning a veritable legion of castmembers in the near future...

L.E.G.I.O.N '04
Using the characters of L.E.G.I.O.N and the current year this Vril Dox centered story introduces us to the L.E.G.I.O.N team again.

LEGION OF MESSAGE BOARD SUPER-HEROES

A fictional tale told by HighPriestessViviane, invovling some of you favorite Legionworld posters. This adventure with keep you wanting more, well, one can hope it will.

PS, I'm going to be writing Legion of Mages, which is about the Legion if they had magic powers, and A Cobalt Team Up, that is being majorally reconstructed.

I still can't wait for the Cobalt team-up, Viv! I'll try and read the latest updates on your onevision this weekend when I get a chance too [Smile]

And Reboot could probably best summarize 21st Century Legion, although it might be time for me to finally start helping him write it again. I wish Juan could join me for our section of it.

I'll see about doing some summaries later, but I can only guarantee a summary of the Workforce stuff, since much of the other stuff is kinda faded in my head. And VtM's stuff is tough to slog through, given his lack of formatting, et al.

I really want to do some more of it too, but I find writing like this slow going much of the time, even when I know "my" versions of the characters and where I want to go with them. I'm not a natural fanficcer [Smile]

(Maybe I should finish off the bios first. I've got McCauley's sitting here half-written, and I certainly want to finish his, and do the other covert team members, at the very least.)

Dear Miss Tricks,
Based entirely on your efforts, I've organized my work into easier categories...

1. Dean's Black Vinyl Legion- What if the V4.5 (reboot) Legionnaires decided to wear all black, shiny uniforms, with simplified versions of their icons?

2. Mr. Naltor- A fanfic about a young man growing up on Naltor, who enters the famous Mr. Naltor "Beauty" Contest. Set during preboot Legion continuity, see how this character interacts with other Naltorians, the Legion of Superheroes and ...Dream Girl!

3. Dean's Sketchbook--Legion and/or LMBP sketches done by Dean Lee.

4. Dean's Coloring Book-- Dean colors artwork drawn by others.

5. Dean's Storybook-- Stories or sequences drawn, written (or both!) by Dean.

I realized that I've pretty much scattered my stuff throughout Bits, so this was my attempt at consolidating and organizing. I hope it makes it into the Directory!

Count on it Dean. I'm always collecting data to include in the Directory. I usually add new entries in on the weekends. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!!!!

Here's the best I can do for now on the 21CL:

21st Century Legion

Fanfic borne out of a question asked by LMBer Eryk Davis Ester: "What If the Legion came to be in the 21st Century?" Many LMBers have contributed, with Invisible Brainiac, SoM/Reboot, Juan, Cobalt Kid, Suddenly Seymour, Varalent and He Who Wanders among those to have made significant contributions.

There is no single storyline, but instead a number of different plot threads - SoM/Reboot has concentrated on a number of young metahumans captured by Leonard McCauley and brainwashed into serving in his "Workforce," Invisible Brainiac concentrating on UN Secretary General Chu's attempts to undermine the Legion, and several of the others focusing on the Emerald Eye, and Dreamer's attempts to warn the Legion about it.
