DC said I can do a sneak peek of this LEGION cover, which has not been seen, not even in Previews, and editor Stephen Wacker specifically said I should show it here. AH! It's great to have...uh..AH! back, if even for one cover. Adam Hughes has well earned his mark as one of my favorite artists in the business.
I'm glad to see the first part of Gail's run, even the cover, is starting on a comical, enjoyable foot! I can't wait to read what's inside the actual issue.

Thanks Gail! We've been bugging Adam at his own group and Allison said he wasn't too thrilled with how it came out and didn't want to share it with us. I don't see why.

No, sure, go ahead and post it around, if you like, but Stephen and I both thought of this place first, honest.
My understanding is that Adam was called in to do an emergency cover for a special DC event, and that made this one just a bit late for Previews. But you know Adam...he's an incredible perfectionist. I've seen him feel unhappy with covers that blew my mind. He's just that good.
I personally love this cover.

Not to be too contrarian - and I love the cover, it's really unusual and striking - but is this serious?
The fact that twice Gail says that Steve Wacker directed her to post it here first, well... it's not April 1st, but it sounds like a "let's pull a joke on those grumpy, gripey legionworlders".

I'm hoping that the "older" thing is primarily a matter of art (and we've all seen samples of Jurgens' art by now. He's even said he wanted to bulk them up, and he tends to draw people looking older anyway).
Besides, Kon's still around, so it's not as if there can be more than a month or two's jump without frelling up Teen Titans.
