If you ask my Peruvian friend, "now" could mean anything from "literally right now" to "I've thought about doing it and will do it some day when I am in the mood and not busy with other stuff"

Yup. My timetable may not be the same as everyone else's.

Yes, the definition of "on time" DEFINITELY varies by culture! laugh

I find that those who demand things, are the ones that somehow slip down my priority list.

For me its when you tell someone to be ready by x:00 to go somewhere and they are late, as it shows they don't value anyone else's time but their own.

I blame comics. They transition from scene to scene seamlessly. So I don't have a proper grasp of the time taken to travel between the two. smile

Although I've read a lot of boring books from the Big 2 over recent decades.

I gave all of the books in new 52 a shot. A number of them didn't make it more than a dozen pages in the shop. Some terrible quality in that relaunch. That would be the last time I bothered much with DC. The umpteen relaunches since, sort of confirms my thoughts on the quality then and since.

I also find the large number of Crises (including ones that tried to pass themselves off as not-Crises by using other names: see: Dark Nights Metal and Death Metal) mind-boggling. every big event is a Crisis again it seems

How long before we see that as the actual event title? Not long I expect.

It will happen one day, considering how many Crisis-related stories there are

Crisis of Plummeting Sales seems to be more DC's line.

I haven’t ever looked at the sales figures myself smile might be more distressing than watching beloved characters die (again)

Apart from a little golden period of promise under Kahn and Levitz, with Wein involved in a lot of good things, I don't think they progressed from trying to figure out why putting a gorilla on thre cover boosted sales.
