I gave all of the books in new 52 a shot. A number of them didn't make it more than a dozen pages in the shop. Some terrible quality in that relaunch. That would be the last time I bothered much with DC. The umpteen relaunches since, sort of confirms my thoughts on the quality then and since. Apart from a little golden period of promise under Kahn and Levitz, with Wein involved in a lot of good things, I don't think they progressed from trying to figure out why putting a gorilla on thre cover boosted sales.
