I was just looking at some Avengers issues a few weeks back. His inking has easily stood the test of time and was still really impressive. He was one of those talents who always boosted a book, regardless of the others involved. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

He was one of the best of all time. One thing that often gets overlooked is what a good eye for color he had, whether it was his painted covers or his inker/colorist phase when Steve Epting was penciling Avengers.
