Per Paul Levitz on Facebook: Just received copies of the new FOURTH WORLD OMNIBUS Vol. 2, which contains the whole LEGION: THE GREAT DARKNESS SAGA among the many stories inspired by jack Kirby's amazing world-building. It also includes a unique treat for Legion completists, a couple of intros by me, some text pages I wrote, and rarely seen mini-comics that accompanied some of the Kenner Super Powers toys. The Legion treat is a back of the book chapter from the Great Darkness Saga, which was originally drawn by Howard Bender and Rodin Rodriguez for LEGION #291. When we did the first trade paperback reprint of GREAT DARKNESS, we made the unusual decision to have Keith Giffen REDRAW that story. Keith's style had changed since the original series, so the redraw still wasn't a neat match for its surroundings, but we felt it was appropriate in those very early days of trade collections. I'm not sure if DC ever similarly had a section of a collection redrawn that way, and the Giffen version was used in each of the several additional printings and formats that DC produced over the last three decades and change. Howard Bender's version has remained alive only in the dusty old copies of the original periodicals since then...until now. This collection contains both, so you can consider whether we made the 'right' choice. Enjoy!

Thanks EDE !
If the GDS is just a part of it, it's going to be one of those massive tomes.

Recall the major plot deviation being KG having Garth rescuing his pals in his jammies instead of donning his costume as he did in #291....
