Well, back then, you only had one-- maybe 2-- chicks on your team, unless you were Legion. TITANS featured many more-- Wonder Girl, Bumblebee, Duela Dent, Lilith and Bat-Girl.

And back then, you ONLY had 1 black team-member, IF you dared to have one at all.

TITANS featured TWO-- Mal Duncan/Gaurdian/Hornblower/The Herald and Bumblebee.

And in a time when boy heroes were wearing short hotpants less and showing less skin, TITANS had Robin and Aqualad. Plus the nipplefest that was Golden Eagle.

Maybe this seems like nothing nowadays, but for the time, in comics, it was quite off the norm and probably why I am such a huge fan of this run of TITANS.

Maybe "groundbreaking" was too strong a term.

These particular issues haven't been archived yet-- sadly. I'll be buying that archive if it ever comes to pass!

Or maybe a softcover TPB (it's only 10 issues) is the way to go. Play up the disco/camp feel on the cover. FUN!

And it appeared, judging from one issue of NTT, the buck-toothed backstabber had a thing for older guys who wore eye-patches... shudder

Miner was speaking for himself, not Terra.

The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

I loved this era of the TEEN TITANS!
I was so fixated on Mal, Bumblebee & Lilith.
